How to Change Your LinkedIn URL
Change your LinkedIn profile URL to a clean, professional address that looks great on resumes and business cards.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to your LinkedIn profile page
- Click "Edit public profile & URL" on the right sidebar
- Click the edit icon next to your current URL
- Type your desired custom URL (3-100 characters, letters/numbers/hyphens only)
- Click Save
Important
Your old URL stops working immediately. Update your resume, email signature, and business cards with the new URL. Previous links to your old profile will break.
