How to Change Your Medium Username
Change your Medium @handle in seconds. Your old @handle link breaks, but your articles and followers stay.
- Go to Settings → Profile
- Click "Edit username"
- Type your new username (3-40 chars, letters/numbers/periods/underscores/hyphens)
- Click Save
Note
Old @handle links will not redirect. Articles stay on your profile, but links using your old @handle will break. Update your author bio and external links.
