How to Change Your SoundCloud Username
Change your SoundCloud profile URL. Old embedded players and external links will break, so plan ahead.
- Go to Settings → Profile
- Click "Change username" or edit your profile URL
- Type your new username (3-35 chars, letters/numbers/underscores/hyphens)
- Save - your new URL is live immediately
Warning for musicians
All embedded SoundCloud players using your old URL will break. External links and social media posts pointing to your old profile URL will stop working. Update your website, social bios, and any press links after changing.
