How to Change Your Spotify Display Name

Spotify generates your username automatically - you cannot choose or change it. But your display name and artist profile are fully customizable.

Change Display Name

1. Open Spotify → Settings → View Profile
2. Click on your display name
3. Type your new name and click Save

Change Artist Name

Go to artists.spotify.com and claim your artist profile. Your artist name is managed through Spotify for Artists, separate from your personal account.
